This Privacy Policy explains how Momento Locket collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use the Momento Locket mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services"). Momento Locket lets you save and access photos, videos, voice recordings, notes, and files, and share them using smart NFC and QR Code products. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We collect the following categories of information, primarily to provide and operate the Services:
When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and password. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). We use this information to create and secure your account, verify your email address, and enable password resets.
We collect and store the content you choose to upload, create, or share through the Services, including photos, videos, voice recordings, notes, and other files. This content is uploaded to our servers so it can be delivered and made accessible through your NFC/QR Code products and shared links.
If you use the "save contact" / vCard sharing feature, we access your device contacts to let you save or share contact information. Contact data is only accessed for this purpose and with your permission.
We read and write data on NFC tags and process QR Codes so you can link, activate, and open content associated with your Momento Locket products.
To operate, secure, and improve the Services, we collect technical information such as device identifiers, push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging), usage and analytics events (via Firebase Analytics), and diagnostic logs.
The app requests the following device permissions. You can grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings.
| Camera | Take photos and record videos to add to and share through your albums. |
|---|---|
| Microphone / Audio | Record voice recordings and audio for your content. |
| Photos / Storage | Select existing photos, videos, and files to upload and share. |
| Contacts | Save and share contact information when you use the contact/vCard feature. |
| NFC | Read and write Momento Locket NFC tags to link and open content. |
| Notifications | Deliver push notifications about your account and activity. |
We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Services. These providers process information on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy policies:
